Actions


 
Actions are items that cannot be automated, such as getting access to building pass or key.
 
Actions are items that are used for either user onboarding or user off-boarding they are used to supplement the automated items with items that cannot be automated.
 

Examples

  • Issuing an ID card to the new employee
  • Providing keys or access codes to the office building or specific rooms
  • A one-on-one orientation or training session with a supervisor or colleague
  • Setting up a workspace or office area, including arranging for any necessary equipment or supplies
  • A personal introduction to the team and tour of the office
  • Signing documents that require a physical signature

Creating a new action

  1. Goto the ⚙️ Admin Page > Actions > Add
  1. You will need to provide:
    1. Title
    2. Description
    3. Actions, the actions should be the detail required to perform the action(s)
  1. Action Type
    1. Action Type will either be Onboarding or Offboarding and this will be associated in the Mapping section
  1. Notify
    1. Select who should be notified of the action.
  1. Notification Type
    1. Can either be Email or Planner Task

FAQs

Can I have more than one action?
Yes you can have multiple actions, you can create a series of actions for both onboarding and offboarding.
What is the difference between onboarding and offboarding actions
The difference is where they can be mapped to, onboarding actions will only be shown when onboarding a user and offboarding when you are offboarding a user.
